These Terms of Use govern your use of www.DanTheCFO.com and participation in workshops and strategy sessions offered by Crystal Clear CFO LLC, doing business as Dan The CFO ("we," "us," or "our").
By using our website, scheduling a strategy session, or registering for or attending a workshop, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. When you register for a workshop, you will be asked to confirm your agreement by checking a box. If you do not agree, do not use the website, schedule a session, or register for a workshop.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our scheduling services, register for a workshop, or enroll in our text-messaging program. By doing so, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
General Educational Information
Our website, workshops, presentations, examples, recordings, and downloadable materials provide general business and financial education.
This information does not take into account your business's specific circumstances and should not be relied upon as individualized financial, accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice.
You are responsible for evaluating information before acting on it and obtaining professional advice appropriate to your circumstances.
No Client Relationship
Visiting our website, scheduling a strategy session, emailing us, or attending a workshop does not by itself establish a client relationship.
Any engagement for our professional services requires a separate written agreement. That agreement governs the services covered by it and controls if it conflicts with these terms concerning those services.
No Guaranteed Results
We do not guarantee any particular revenue, profit, cash-flow improvement, cost savings, or other financial or business result.
Examples, projections, and educational illustrations do not promise an outcome. Actual results depend on your circumstances, decisions, implementation, and other factors.
Strategy Sessions
You may schedule a strategy session through Calendly. Please provide accurate information and follow the scheduling instructions if you need to cancel or reschedule.
A strategy session provides an opportunity to discuss your business and whether our services may be appropriate. It does not obligate either party to enter into a professional engagement.
We may record strategy sessions and use a note-taking tool to create a transcript, notes, or summary. We will tell you at the start of the session when recording or note-taking is in use. If you prefer that a session not be recorded or transcribed, tell us before or at the start of the session and we will turn these features off. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use and retain this information.
Workshop Registration and Administration
Unless otherwise stated during registration, our workshops are free to attend.
We work with The Collective Inc. to help establish registration pages, manage workshop advertising, and administer workshop communications. We use GoHighLevel to manage landing pages, registrations, contact records, emails, and text messages. Workshops are conducted through Zoom.
Please provide accurate registration information and use only contact information you are authorized to provide.
We may reasonably change a workshop's date, format, presenter, or content, or cancel a workshop. We will use the contact information provided to communicate significant scheduling changes to registered participants.
Registration does not obligate you to purchase services.
Workshop Recording and Participation
Our Zoom workshops are recorded. We provide notice during registration and through the meeting platform.
Depending on your participation and the recording settings, recordings may include your display name, voice, image, questions, and other contributions. Chat messages may also be retained. We may also create transcripts or summaries of workshops, including through artificial-intelligence features.
If you choose to contribute after receiving recording notice, you permit us to include your contribution in the workshop recording, transcript, and summary and make them available for attendee replay and internal review. This permission does not authorize unrelated public promotional use of your identifiable image, voice, or contribution.
You may keep your camera off and microphone muted. Your display name and submitted content may still be visible or retained. If you do not wish to participate in a recorded session, please do not join or contribute to it.
Do not disclose confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information about yourself, your business, clients, employees, or others. We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information shared in a group workshop.
Participants may not record, transcribe, or distribute a workshop without our prior written permission. This includes adding third-party recording, transcription, or artificial-intelligence note-taking tools or bots (for example, Otter, Fathom, Fireflies, or Read.ai) to the meeting. We may remove such tools from the meeting without notice.
Ownership and Use of Materials
Except where otherwise identified, our website content, workshop presentations, recordings, worksheets, and other materials are owned by Crystal Clear CFO LLC or used with permission.
You may view and use materials provided to you for your own business's internal educational purposes.
Without prior written permission, you may not sell, republish, publicly distribute, or use our materials to deliver a competing training program.
You must retain copyright and other ownership notices. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights.
Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to:
- Disrupt a workshop or interfere with another participant's access.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate another person.
- Submit unlawful content or information you lack authority to disclose.
- Attempt unauthorized access to our website, accounts, or systems.
- Misuse registration forms, scheduling tools, or communication services.
We may remove participants or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect others, the workshop, or our systems.
Email Communications
Registration allows us to send workshop confirmation, access instructions, reminders, materials, and workshop-related follow-up by email.
Our workshop-specific email sequence ends within 48 hours after the workshop. After that, we may send occasional emails about future workshops, resources, and our services. Promotional communications are subject to the choices presented during registration and applicable law, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Optional Text-Messaging Program
Crystal Clear CFO LLC, doing business as Dan The CFO, offers optional text messages through GoHighLevel and its messaging providers.
Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include workshop confirmations, access instructions, reminders, and promotional follow-up about Dan The CFO's services. Promotional texts require separate marketing consent.
Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies based on the workshop schedule and your selections. The workshop text sequence ends within 48 hours after the workshop unless you separately request or authorize additional messaging.
Consent to text messages is not required to register for a free workshop or purchase services. Agreeing to these Terms of Use does not by itself constitute consent to marketing texts.
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you and from you. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your plan.
You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may receive one non-promotional message confirming your opt-out. We also honor other clear requests to stop. To subscribe again, complete a new opt-in.
For assistance, reply HELP or email Dan@DanTheCFO.com.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
For information about personal information and messaging preferences, review our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services and Links
We use services including Vercel, Calendly, GoHighLevel, Zoom, note-taking tools, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Your direct use of third-party services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
We do not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, security, or performance. Links to third-party resources do not constitute a guarantee of their content or an endorsement unless expressly stated.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share personal information associated with our website, scheduling, strategy sessions, registration, advertising, and communications.
Disclaimers
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but content may contain errors or become outdated.
To the extent permitted by law, our website, workshops, and educational materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Crystal Clear CFO LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, participation in a workshop or strategy session, or reliance on general educational materials.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these terms, the website, a workshop, or a strategy session will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the workshop or session giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These limitations do not apply to services provided under a separate written engagement agreement, which is governed by its own terms.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by Georgia law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms, the website, a workshop, or a strategy session will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bartow County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
General
Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Entire agreement. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the website and workshops. A separate written engagement agreement governs any professional services.
Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, sale of assets, or reorganization.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Changes apply prospectively.
Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement.
